Pastor Bruce Plumley
Pastor Bruce Plumley

Bruce Plumley was called by the Church as an associate pastor on June 1st 2004. He is a 2005 graduate of the certificate program from Bethel Seminary of the East.

Before God called Bruce to the ministry, he was a funeral director and embalmer for 23 years. Bruce believes that God prepared him through those many years of death dying and grief to serve His church with a heart of compassion and a desire for all to know the truth of life, death, relationships and the Gospel.

Bruce serves Holland Church in various ministries including discipleship, teaching, preaching and counseling. He is the current director of ‘Your Life Matters Pregnancy Center’, a ministry of Holland church.

Bruce has been married to his wife, Belinda, since 1990. They live in Holland with their four children; Lauren, Taylor, Leah and Adam.

Jeff 2Pastor Jeff Pearson

Jeff grew up as the son of a music minister. After living in Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan with his family, he moved to Louisville, KY to attend Boyce College. While at Boyce, Jeff recieved his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies and met his wife, Becky, who was from Massachusetts. After getting married, Jeff and Becky moved to Sturbridge, MA. They joined the Church in Holland in 2011. Since that time, they have had the blessing of welcoming 2 beautiful daughters into their family. Jeff currently serves as the Youth and Preaching Pastor to the Holland Church. He also assists with the music ministry.

Luke BardsleyLuke Bardsley (Elder)

Luke is a servant of the Lord, husband to his wife Victoria and father of 4 beautiful children. He desires to see men raised up in the church to lead their families well and teach their children the scriptures. He and his wife love to mentor other young couples in the faith to grow together as one, living as the Lord commands us in His word. Luke also serves in the music ministry by leading worship singing on selected Sundays. Luke is the manager of a plumbing and HVAC supply house in Leominster Massachusetts. He has been with that company since 2004. He enjoys spending time with his family, doing yard work/ house projects, playing sports with his kids, fishing, golfing, and fellowshipping with other families.

 


Pat SheaPat Shea (Elder)

Pat Shea is 38 years old and has been married to his wife, Becky since 1997. They have 7 beautiful and unique children. God has been so faithful. Pat was saved at the ripe young age of 14. Over the years He has grown abundantly in his relationship to Christ. Currently Pat serves as an elder at Holland church. He also teaches Sunday School for our High school students and is a leader in our Youth programs.

Pat seeks to honor Christ in everything he does:
Philippians 1:20 – as it is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death.


Alan  Breeze HusseyAlan ‘Breeze’ Hussey (Elder)

Alan comes from Dover-Foxcroft, Maine where he was raised in a christian home. He has lived in Massachusetts since 1972 years and has worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft since 1974. He joined the Holland Church in 1994 and has served as an elder and Sunday School teacher for most of that time. He lives in Sturbridge with his wife, Mary. They have two grown children, Lisa who is a teacher and Adam serving with his family as missionaries in the Philippines. They also have two beautiful grandchildren.

Bill HardyBill Hardy (Elder)

Bill joined HCC in 1996, the year he received saving faith. He is an Elder with the church, assists in overseeing the men’s ministry and mission trips, is a discipler, he leads a small group, and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Your Life Matters Pregnancy Center (YLMPC). A graduate of both Wentworth Institute with his ASCE and Northeastern University with both his BSCE and MSCE, he has been a civil engineer since 1979. Bill is married to his wife Sally, is a father of 4, with 5 grandchildren, and is an avid New England sports fan.

Jim TribaJim Triba (Elder)

Jim has been a member of the Holland Church since 2004 and has served as Usher, Deacon, and currently Elder. He is involved in various aspects of the youth ministry teaching Sunday school, Children’s Church, and bible lessons for our weekly ‘Kids for Christ’ ministry. Jim has been married to his wife Carolyn since 1998. They live in Stafford, CT with their three children, Isabel, Rory and Esther.

Jayson WilburJayson Wilbur (Elder)

Jayson grew up in nearby Auburn, MA. He has always lived in the area except for a ‘quick’ stint at Purdue University where he earned a doctorate in statistics. More importantly, however, it was there that he met his wife, Stephanie. Jayson and Stephanie moved to Sturbridge, Ma in 2002 and began attending services with the Holland Church. They have 5 children; Elisabeth, David, Faith, Matthew, and Anna. Jayson oversees the Sunday School ministry and works closely with Pastor Bruce to help coordinate the discipleship ministry. He also regularly teaches our adult Sunday School classes.

Mike ForandMike Forand (Elder)

Mike grew up in the nearby town of Sturbridge, MA. In 1984 he and his wife, Marie, moved to Holland along with their two (now adult) sons Joshua and Nathan. They began meeting with the Holland Church about that time and have been with us ever since. Mike assists with some of our office administration work, he and Marie prepare weekly bulletins, and Mike is a resource for many or our technological needs.

Eric WillardEric Willard (Elder)

Eric is one of our most long-standing elders. Prior to being a part of The Holland Church, he grew up in Auburn, MA. From there he went to Merrimack College to play hockey and ended up with a Bachelor degree in accounting. He married his High School sweetheart , Carol, in 1981 and they moved to Fiskdale, just next door to Holland. They had 2 children (both adults now); Amy and Mike. Eric and Carol first started meeting with The Holland Church in 1986. Then, in 1995 Eric was voted in as an elder and took over responsibilities as the treasurer. Eric continues as an elder and treasurer today; overseeing all of our financial endeavors.
